Recipe for Stone Age diet bread

Just because your ancestors ate gathered and hunted foods, it doesn’t mean that you are restricted to such only. You can make special bread at home and enjoy your journey to weight loss. Make sure you have all the ingredients in place before starting the cooking preparation.

Ingredients

  • – 1 cup of smooth cashew nut butter (should be at room temperature)
  • 1-2 tablespoons of honey
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 2-3 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 100 g coconut flour
  • 100 ml almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate
  • ½-teaspoonful sea salt for taste

Directions

  • Preheat the oven up to 300 degrees F.
  • Line the bottom of a glass loaf pan with parchment paper and spread a thin layer of coconut oil around the sides of the pan.
  • Sift all the dry ingredients and mix them in a medium-sized bowl. Pour in the whisked egg whites and mix well.
  • Using a separate bowl, mix cashew butter with egg yolk, whisking thoroughly. Then add milk, honey and vinegar.
  • Add the two mixtures together, beating the mixtures of wet ingredients and dry ingredients together until they are well combined.
  • In your already prepared loaf pan, pour in the batter and put it into the oven.
  • The baking time is 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Avoid checking your bread frequently as this will allow in the air to affect its quality. Just give it time to cook well. No opening of the oven door until you smell the aroma from your bread. You can also use a skewing stick to see if the bread is cooked.
  • Cool the bread for about 10 to 15 minutes before flipping it out of the baking pan.
  • You can serve this bread for your lunch.
