  1. Slice the fresh ginger root thinly or grate it.
  2. Pour in a cup of boiling water. Keep the cup covered with a saucer. For more flavor, add some mint leaves. Steep the ginger and mint in water for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add lemon or lime and honey. You can also add a mix of berries. I prefer raspberries and blueberries. Enjoy the tea hot in winter.
  4. In summer, cool the tea down and add some ice cubes. If you use frozen berries, you do not need to cool the tea down before adding them to the mix.
