Will diet alone & light exercise help me lose 10 pounds?

I'm eliminating bread, pasta, potatoes, red meat (only for a while), cheese, and sweets. Instead I'm focusing on beans, raw and cooked vegetables, fruits, egg whites, whole grain/high fiber cereal, salad, avocados, cream-less soups, chicken, turkey, and salmon. I'm doing very light exercise such as jumping jacks, sit ups, crutches. Would all of this help me lose 10 pounds within the next month and a half?

you are doing great

It is impossible to tell for sure if you will lose 10 pounds within the month and a half as your calorie intake is unknown. It is important to choose healthy food and do exercises; however, portion control is also very important. You are definitely on the right way and I think you will succeed.
