Too much TV can sabotage your weight loss success

If you like watching TV in your spare time, you have a good chance of gaining extra pounds.

Why too much TV is not good for your waistline:

  1. You burn fewer calories by watching TV than other sedentary activities (for example, working on the computer or reading).
  2. People tends to snack while watching TV. Popcorn, anyone?
  3. Food commercials increase cravings for fast food.

You may want to stop watching TV in the evening and simply go for a walk.
