The magazine "Which?" bought and tested food from Burger King, KFC, McDonald's and Pizza Hut. The nutritional analysis revealed that information disclosed by fast food chains often understates the calorie, saturated fat and salt content of foods. According to the Burger King's web site, Whopper and Regular Fries contain 13g of saturated fat. However, the lab found 19g.
It appeared that salads were not always the healthy option because they were salty or fatty. For example, salads bought from KFC and McDonald's had 6g of salt. That's more than half the recommended daily limit.

Did "Which" Notify Burger King for a Response
I think Which magazine should notify Burger King its findings. 5gm more fat is approx. 30% higher fat content than reported. That's quite misleading. Chances are most people, me included, read the fat content of fast food more for entertainment value than nutritional value. Think about it. If I'm going to eat fast food, which is maybe once every 2 months, I'm not really concerned about the fat content because I know it's high.
Moreover, regular fast food eaters probably never look at the fat content because they eat the stuff all the time and the last thing they want to read is astronomically bad nutrition information.
That said, there are a small set (I'm speculating) of people who read fast food's nutritional declarations with serious intent and take what is reported as truth. For this group of people, the misleading information (if Which's lab is indeed correct and BK is wrong), is damaging.

Shocked
It does not come as a shock to know these things. Many fast food use incomplete information in advertisements. It's not their fault though. As a person concerned with nutrition, we should be responsible enough to research before believing in anything.
fast foods
The fast foods were always heavy on the stomach. The reason that people opt for it is taste, but we do have the option of preparing it ourselves in a much better and hygienic way. Though the amount of calorie consumed can be looked aside once in while but when these food become the main stream, the healthy nutritious homemade food takes the back seat and this has been adversely affecting the health of the people.
salt and fat
What makes our society obesogenic is the high consumption of Sugar, Salt and Fat.
